tango classes

The members of Tango Evolution believe in supporting a dynamic embrace which switches between close and open embraces depending on the partners and the music. For this reason, we have classes focused on both embraces. Close embrace tango is where the chests of both partners are always in contact and open embrace is where there is a some distance between the partners.

Thursdays in Buckhead (Beginner & Intermediate Classes)
Every Thursday at Take Hold Ballroom in Buckhead
This is our largest class and focuses primarily on the use of an open embrace.

Monday's "Focus on Close Embrace Tango" (Intermediate Classes)
Every Monday at Pera Dance Studios off Collier Road
In this class, we focus strictly on the use of a close embrace.

Athens, GA  (2nd and 4th Tuesdays)
We teach workshops in Athens, GA twice per month on the Second and Fourth Tuesdays.
In this class, we focus on an open embrace.

Macon, GA  (Beginner & Intermediate Workshops)
We teach workshops in Macon, GA once per month on the Second Sunday.
In this class, we focus on an open embrace.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are a great way to improve your tango quickly. Group classes are a great way to begin your tango career and meet new friends, but in a group of 30 students personal attention is hard to get. We offer private lessons for individuals, couples and small groups.
