| The members of Tango Evolution believe in supporting a dynamic embrace which switches between close and open embraces depending on the partners and the music. For this reason, we have classes focused on both embraces. Close embrace tango is where the chests of both partners are always in contact and open embrace is where there is a some distance between the partners. |

We formed Tango Evolution in 2004 to promote tango to a new generation of dancers in Atlanta by holding weekly classes and throwing monthly Milongas (Tango Dance Parties). There are usually at least three opportunities to dance social Tango in Atlanta every week. Tango Evolution focuses on teaching a social form of Tango which includes all styles of tango including: open embrace, close embrace, apilado, milonguero, nuevo, etc. To us, it all goes by one name... TANGO. We focus on the connection between the dancers, solid technique and most importantly having fun. Our students can travel anywhere in the world from Buenos Aires to Paris and dance Tango. Our Atlanta Tango classes have between 20 to 40 students and we teach beginning, intermediate and advanced classes. Tango Evolution has travelled throughout the Southeastern US and even Europe teaching Tango workshops. |
